Pick your own fruit at @roundstone_farm in Ferring!!! I’ve always wanted to go to one of these and Roundstone did not disappoint - well the rain did but we didn’t let that damper our spirits. Loads of parking, free entry, free bags & boxes, free tractor rides and lots of walking to pick all the fruit and vegetables to your heart’s delight! Our favourites were the strawberries and plums - so juicy!!! Not really buggy/stroller friendly and no toilets to be seen but it’s still a good few hours of entertainment for little ones - just make sure they use the toilet beforehand! Please note that the tea rooms at the farm shop are also currently closed unfortunately...

A garden center with a lovely farm shop and tea rooms that also offers PYO. Free entry you just pay by weight at the end for what you pick. The kids loved it. I loved it. I wore a skirt, my advice would be to wear shorts if you go! You can take a pushchair but you can't push it up the rows of fruit and veg to pick. You have to leave it at the edge of the picking block.
