Lovely park near the centre of Northampton in a nice residential area. Lots and lots of space, would be ideal for a picnic on a nice day. Plenty of play equipment; swings, slides, climbing frames etc to suit toddlers as well as 10 year olds. Also a duck pond, tennis courts (which are for public use), avery, bowling green and a bandstand, which has a live band from April through September. There was a couple of ice cream vans but also a lovely cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking was around the outside of the park on the residential roads; free and non permit.
