We visited the Fairies and Dragons event today. I really liked it, My daughter did too. The girls were really good and engaging. Worth the money for kids but not sure about paying for adults! I miss the carousel at the beach too! X

Went to the Pumpkin Scooping this Thursday; such a great experience!! My daughter was perhaps a little young at 2.5, but I loved it and she loves it at Frosts. There is so much to do for her plus we loved the Christmas display and photo opps there! Well done Frosts.

Thank you Wiki for this great recommendation - today we visited the Little Chefs workshop at Frosts. For £6.50 it was excellent value. The boys got to design a mini apron for themselves using fabric pens, they then went on to decorate a gingerbread man with icing and sweeties. The whole set up was friendly, laid back and well organised - we had a great time.

Went to the Wild Wild West at Frosts today. Brilliant fun: staff were amazing with the kids. 2 hours of fun, games, stories, sand, tin can alley, drawing. Juice and fruit offered. £6.99 per child. Well worth their huge smiles.

Wild West Beach is brilliant this year, we had a great afternoon, loads of entertainment, books, a teepee, and the staff were really great and energetic. Will try to go back again soon!

My first visit to Frosts this week was pleasantly surprising - who knew a garden centre could be so varied and have so much to offer?!?The cafe is just great, clean and up to date facilities - really helpful staff. We visited the Wild West - the boys loved playing in the sandpit and enormous teepee, not to mention dressing up in cowboy hats. Think we will investigate making a date with Father Christmas this year too - heard lots of good things about it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our session at the Wild West this morning. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They entertained the children from the offset; reading stories, building sand castles, blowing bubbles and searching for golden nuggets. My eldest loved dancing around to the music and trying on the cowboy props! Unlimited fruit and squash! A big hit all round.

We are just back from a mighty fine day out Wild West Style at the Frosts Wild West Beach. We had two hours of sandy fun and frolics. So much to do! Matilda was obsessed by the incredible teepee where one of the resident cowgirls read stories while Jacob spent ages at the coconut shy knocking them down and building them back up again. Such a brilliant morning with loads of activities (including panning for a gold coin!) and games organised by the staff as well as a craft table and eat as much as you like fruit and juice! You can't go wrong with this as it's just about long enough to keep them entertained the whole time and mine were definitely ready for lunch and a rest after despite being the last to leave and my almost having to drag them out!! It will get busier in the holidays so might be a good idea if you have really little ones to make the most of the calm now but this will be a cracking summer activity with sand castles ready and waiting to be built all day long!! Booking is almost certainly recommended as although it was not at capacity today I know it will be at other times and in the holidays. At £6.99 per child for two hours this is not one to be missed. And...Don't forget that Frosts is a one stop shop also for all your gift buying and food shopping requirements as Frosts is packed full with amazing things. I find it almost impossible to leave!!

Frosts is a great venue and not just a garden centre, the cafe/restaurant is great with a large selection of foods on offer. The staff are also really helpful in terms of helping to carry trays etc. We used to visit regularly following baby sensory classes as relaxed and great for mums to chatter. Frosts also have great activities for children including the circus, we took Edward when he was 23 months and he was totally mesmerised by all the acts, the show is not too long so holds little concentrations!! They also have Father Christmas, this is really magical with various stages, stories, songs, reindeer food making and meeting the main man, great age appropriate gift at the end. Plenty of parking and easily accessible it's a great go to place.

We went ice skating at Frosts, great fun for all ages! There are special plastic 'seals' for the little ones so everyone can join in. Good value. The cafe/restaurant is great, cooked food, great cakes and salad selection. There is a small play area which is quite self contained so you can relax a bit knowing the children are safe. Overall a great family venue.

Visited the Wild West beach last week. It was a very enjoyable two hours and we will definitely go again. Both girls loved playing in the large sand pit and Ella particularly enjoyed making postcards and singing. The staff entertain the children, so parents can have a coffee in lovely surroundings. Also great to stay for lunch after so a lovely half day outing.

Visited on the Wild West beach day, Arrived early 9am and had breakfast which was lovely it was a sunny day so we sat outside; the staff were so helpful carrying my trays, bringing me a high chair and cutlery ( so handy when you have a pushchair ) At 9:30 we had booked in do the 2 hour experience cost £6.99 my 1 year old went in for free. The space was amazing with huge sandpit, lots of sand toys, tin can alley, postcard craft, story tipi with soft cushions, cowboy style dress up and photo board. The staff organising player games, introduced each area with a task i.e. Create a postcard and enter to be postcard of the week The children had access to fruit and drinks, all receiving a chocolate Coin at the end. We would definitely go again 😊

Love Frosts. Great garden centre with lovely cafe offering great seasonal activities (beach in summer, circus in school half terms, Santa at Christmas). The cafe has a small children's area to keep the children entertained whilst you have a much needed coffee. Loads of parking.

Large garden centre with home store, food hall and restaurant. Trolleys with cars attached for toddlers to sit in or "drive." The cafe is extremely large with good pram access, offering a parent and child eating area, which includes plenty of high chairs and a small clean indoor play area. Outside is a large garden and seating area, with shaded areas, perfect for both adults and children. The garden includes a picturesque and child safe pond. For a number of months in the summer, Frosts open "The Beach." For a small fee children can enjoy a session in the large sandpit. Please note these sessions should be booked in advance for peak times, eg weekends. Sessions include fruit and juice for each child and two rides on a carousel. Ideal for children aged 6 months to 6 years. Frosts have numerous child friendly and book able events throughout the year, including Santa's Grotto, Ice Skating, a Circus, and much more.
