We had a fantastic day at Stockwood park. It's FREE to get in, there are lots of places to sit and relax with a picnic, or kick a ball about. We set up our own Easter egg hunt around where we was sitting, the kids loved it. There's a few parks and the Discovery Centre is fab if you fancy learning something too. There is a cafe, we didn't use it (we had picnic) but the food looked great and was reasonably priced. Will be going back.

We love Stockwood Discovery Centre. We usually try and visit once a year because they often have an exhibition on. This year is the lego themed brick wonders exhibition which costs a small fee to get in. The rest of the discovery centre is free to explore they have some lovely gardens for the kids to explore, a playground and big grounds to have a picnic in. They also have a cafe but only food purchased on site can be consumed in there. If I have one negative to say its that there is nowhere to eat your picnic if its raining. Aside from that its well worth a visit and is a great day out.
