Great outdoor fun with lots of different activities for the kids.  Great rides and amusements for all ages. Perfect in summer for taking a picnic too. Not too expensive. You can by an unlimted pass or pay for vouchers as you go round.

Wicksteed park play factor is also great for kids. Enough soft play to keep them entertained for hours. Coffee shop (including snacks) and seating for parents. Safe doors so children can't get lost or go out, baby change and toilets close to soft play.

Parties when we went we're £8.50 per child including a packed lunch.

Opens 9:30 on week days. 10:30 on weekends and school holidays.

Indoor play park - Toddlers £4.50. Prices are cheaper than stated on weekdays in and in term time.

*Actual amusement park closed in winter*

Such a lovely place. The park is massive! The railway is always a big hit. Definitely visiting again

Had a great day out at Wicksteed today. Lovely pretty open spaces and kids both loved it. We spent the most time in Adventure Land as this had the most age appropriate rides. We also did the tree top walk (although only 7 year old was tall enough). The thrill zone was good with two or three more adventurous rides although my children were either too small or not daredevil enough! The splash zone was disappointing, not much there and the boating lake wasn’t open. It was a little bit tired. We bought food at the cafe which was reasonable but really the grounds are so lovely a picnic would have been more fun and kids could have run around more. We bought wrist bands which mean you get access to all the rides. Otherwise you can buy individual tickets for £2.50. I think we got our money’s worth (£74 for a family of four) mainly in adventure land. Given the covid situation I was disappointed with the cleanliness in some areas, no soap in some toilets so take hand sanitiser!

Wicksteed is a fab day out for all! Parking is fab, plenty of space. Perfect for picnics, dog friendly, wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Plenty of restaurant opportunities, sit down smoke house, take away fish and chips, pizza, pasta and a little cafe with sandwiches. They also have a lush ice cream parlour which sell ice creams and milk shakes - yummy! Whilst at Wicksteed we purchased wrist bands for all the family to enjoy the rides, even the 16 year old loved it! The 1 year old loved the rides he could get on. We also paid to enter the clip and climb, this was so much fun for the boys & dad, not just for kids. We will be returning to Wicksteed in the future and recommend it to any of our friends.

We’ve been a few times. We have. 3 and 5 year old. Absolutely amazing as every time we go we use Tesco vouchers to get our tokens. I would say this park is suited to 2-11 years. Decent little rollercoaster. Decent log flume. And plenty of rides or smaller ones (ideally 0.9m high) you can purchase wrist bands for all day unlimited ride access and I believe these are £19. Please be aware that without Tesco touchers 20 tokens will cost £22. Rides range in required tokens from 1pp to 3pp (larger rides) Fantastic free parts to Wicksteed. Brilliant parks. Huge picnic areas with plenty of trees for shade and to play group games. A sand and water area. Plenty of on site eateries (we didn’t use we had a picnic so not sure on quality or price) with our 20 tokens today we went on a few rides and spent hours with friends playing football and having our picnic. Unsure of exact costs to parking but we were there over 4 hours and it cost £6. Our car was right by where our picnic was set up which was so handy. We will most definitely go back. We love it here. So perfect for our little ones. It’s a place to have a whole day out at or just a quick visit.

Another fantastic day out at wicksteed. Slides, roller coasters, fast cars, monorail, canoes, train ride, HUGE play park, carousel and more!!! Pricey but wristbands are worth investing in. Handy tip- take a picnic, not much choice of food.
