This place is awesome. We have been lots of times and it is still really interesting. It helps if you have read some of the books but it's still good if you haven't. The first room is mostly information but the next two rooms are very interactive and great for kids.
They do storytimes and other events too. Everytime we go, we come away feeling full of magic and excitement and bursting with inspiration to get writing ourselves.
Its amazing to be surrounded by so much memorabila, for example his orignal writing hut!! The Museum is actually within the small village there Roald Dahl lived and where he wtote all of his stories. There are three galleries, mainly for 6 to 12 year olds.

The museum is very interactive which I think is perfect for young children. I think my 3 1/2 year was a little bit young but she still enjoyed the exhibits. The dress up and craft area was a big hit- and bonus I found it interesting finding out more about Roald Dahl
