Your Cafe in the Park

Your Cafe in the Park

Open today from 0900 until 0500

This is such a good find. It is a dual-sided cafe. One side has soft play and the other is a cafe. It is based on parkland so you can take dogs and kids outside for a runaround. There's also a brilliant play park for older kids outside. The soft play is suitable for little ones up to five at the most I'd say, best for toddlers. It's affordable and is open so you can keep an eye and enjoy a bevvie! There is loads of parking and baby changing facilities are available too. Just be sure to keep the door closed as there is lots of in and out with food being served. Soft play is only on in the week and available for private hire at weekends, but the caf is still open. They also run cha char chimps there in the week and footy classes outside on the weekends.

I met a friend and her little boy who's nearly 2 here for coffee yesterday. We needed to meet somewhere her little one could run around but where we could keep an eye on him. My youngest son Jack is only 10 months so still in a high chair but once he's walking he'll love it. The soft play half of the cafe is completely open so you can sit and watch the littles play. There's a small slide, few ride ons and ball pit and a big bouncy castle. The coffee was great and food is good value too with a big menu to choose from. It was very cold and snowing when we went but in a nice day it'd be worth checking out the big playground in the park opposite too. I'll definitely be taking a trip back in the summer!

Great friendly staff, lovely menu, good park and Greenland to walk around. There's a lovely little stream which the kids can walk through in the warmer months. It's an all round great place for a coffee and catch up or to spend a day exploring
